Course Content
The Mridangam (also spelled Miruthangam in Tamil) is a traditional South Indian percussion instrument used widely in Carnatic music concerts. It is a double-headed drum made from a hollowed-out piece of jackfruit wood, with animal hide stretched over both ends.
